VENTAN - GR

  VENTAN - GR is a light fast resin syntan in liquid form suitable for chrome tanned leathers and combination tanned leathers. It is based on carbamide - formaldehyde reaction product.
  CHARACTERISTICS:
 
Appearance : Yellow translucent liquid
pH of 10% solution : 6.5 - 7.5
Stable to : Alkalis, acids, salts, not stable below pH 3.5
Compatible with : Cationics, anionics, nonionics, may precipitate with
vegetable tanning
Solubility : Dilutable with water
  APPLICATION:
 

VENTAN - GR enhances grain tightness, clears out the irregularities of the skin, reduces the stretch in the loose ends, and offers suppleness to the suedes.

Examples of application :

In the pickle : 3 - 5% on the pelt weight

In chrome tannages

: 2 - 3% on pelt weight
In retannages : 3 - 6% on shaved weight for upholstery leathers
  STORAGE STABILITY:
  More than one year if stored properly at ambient temperature in supplied packing.
