  VENTAN PFS is phenolic cum protein containing syntan with good filling effect on leather.
  CHARACTERISTICS:
 
Appearance : Clear to hazy brownish liquid
% Solid content : Min. 45%
Solubility (5%) : Yellowish brown clear to hazy liquid
pH of 5% solution : 7.1 - 7.6
  SPECIAL FEATURES:
 
  • It imparts marked, selective filling effect. As the product precipitates below pH 4.00, its selective use gives excellent fullness & buffability to leather with improved softness.
  • It is also suitable to produce suede leathers with short nap.
  • It is moderately lightfast. The leathers produced using it show very good stability to storage with respect to yellowing.
  • Due to low astringency of the product, it gives excellent grain smoothness & fineness.
  APPLICATION:
 
It is suitable for retanning of
- shoe upper leathers
- aniline softies
- suedes, nubuck
- clothing leathers
- corrected grain leathers
The recommended dosage is 2 - 4%, on shaved wt., for retannage at pH value not below 4.00. It can then be fixed by lowering the pH value.
  STORAGE STABILITY:
  More than one year if stored properly at ambient temperature in supplied packing.
