T.I.Notes  
  VENWET - S is a versatile nonionic wetting, washing and emulsifying agent, based on alkyl phenol polyglycol ethers, for use in leather industry.
  CHARACTERISTICS:
 
Appearance : Clear, colourless to pale yellow liquid
pH of 10% solution : 7.0
Stable to : All electrolytes
Compatible with : Nonionics, anionics, and cationics
Solubility : Freely dilutable with water
  SPECIAL FEATURES:
 
  • Accelerates soaking
  • Accelerates liming and emulsification of fats.
  • Very useful in wetting back of crust.
  • Useful in stabilizing fatliquor emulsions.
  APPLICATION:
 

Examples of application :
In the soak : 0.5 - 1.5% on salted weight
In the lime : Up to 7.5% on the salted weight
For degreasing : 4 - 8% along with upto 20% kerosene
In wetting back : 1 - 3% on dry weight
As a fatliquor additive : 0.5 - 1.0% on shaved weight
  STORAGE STABILITY:
  More than one year if stored properly at ambient temperature in supplied packing.
