Ethoxylates are the hydrocarbons manufactured by ethoxylation process in which Ethylene Oxide ( 1, 2 Epoxethane) is added to some hydrophobe like phenols, alcohols, fatty acids, amines etc.to make them more soluble in water. Ethoxylates are extremely versatile chemicals finding use in almost every conceivable industrial applications, the main ones being detergents, personal care, textiles, leather, paper, dyes, paints, agro, pharma, oilfield, and many others ethoxylate.
