VENTAN NNS - S is phenol based neutralizing syntan especially suitable for chrome tanned soft leathers.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
Excellent combination with chrome tanned leathers.
Due to its excellent buffering action, it raises pH of leather
moderately and reduces cationic character of the surface. This
makes spread of retanning agents easier without any astringency
or hardening.
It is moderately light fast.
It helps in achieving full shade in dyeing.
APPLICATION:
The recommended dosage is 1-2%, on shaved wt., for soft leathers.
The recommended dosage is 2% on shaved wt. for sheep garment
leather.
The recommended dosage is 2-3 % on shaved wt. buff upholstery
leather.
STORAGE STABILITY:
More than one year if stored properly at ambient
temperature in supplied packing.
Retanning agents are same as synthetic tanning agents. Synthetic tanning agents are also known as retanning agents since they are used on wet blues which are obtained after the main tanning process using chrome for further tanning to modify leather properties to suit end application of leather.
