Re-chromingsyntan Appearance: Green coloured free flowing powder % Moisture content: 5.0 max.Ionic charge. Anionic Solubility in Water: Readily soluble Stability to electrolytes: Very good pH of 10% solution: 3 ± 0.5 In re-chroming it helps in maintaining chrome character of the leather with good fullness & softness.Re-chroming with Ventan RCS gives leathers a tight and fine grain.It increases the affinity of leather for dyestuffs and ensures level dyeing.It exhausts completely from re-chroming bath at elevated temperature. Due to its masked chrome complex nature, when used as pre-tanning agent, rapid penetration of pelt takes place and this facilitates acceleration of subsequent vegetable tanning process. In general, 2 -4% (on shaved wt.) is applied priorto neutralizing.For pre-tanning, 1-2% (on pelt wt.) is applied after the pickle in the same bath.For chroming wet white leathers, 2-6% (on pelt wt.) is applied in combination with other tanning agents. Product is stable for one year from date of manufacture, if stored at ambienttemperature in supplied packing.

Dye leveling and dispersing syntan Appearance: Beige coloured powder % Moisture content: 5.0 max.Solubility in Water: Freely soluble pH of 10% solution: 7 ±0.5 It is compatible with anionic and non-ionic products.It helps in getting very good dispersion of vegetable & resin tanning agents in retanning process.Suitable for use as leveling agent in dyeing leather with anionic dyes.It improves the penetration of dyestuffs. The recommended dosage is 1-2 %, on shaved wt., for level dyeing and penetration of dye on chrome/vegetable tanned leathers. Product is stable for one year from date of manufacture, if stored at ambient temperature in supplied packing.

Phenolic pre-tanning agent Appearance: Yellow to light brown powder % Moisture content: 5.0 max.Solubility in Water: Readily soluble in water giving clear solution,pH of 10%solution: 3.5±0.5 It accelerates penetration ofvegetable tannins.Produces bleaching effect with mellow handle.It has medium astringency, tans hides readily and evenly to produce tight, smooth, undrawn grain with pale colour.When used as retanning agent for chrome leather, it produces firm, smooth & resilient grain character. It bleaches leather colour without affecting chrome leather character. For Vegetable tanning: Recommended dosage is 3-5%.For retanning chrome leathers: Recommended dosage is 1- 2% Product is stable for one year from date of manufacture, if stored at ambient temperature in supplied packing.

Phenolic replacement syntan Appearance: Light brown coloured powder % Moisture content: 5.0 max.Solubility in Water: Freely soluble pH of 10%solution: 3.5 ±0.5 It is a phenolic general-purpose syntan for retanningof all leathers.Its use in retanning gives fuller leather and is suitable for retannage of light coloured leathers.It has self-tanning properties and can partly replace vegetable tanning agents during tanning.Itexhibits reasonably good light fastness. The recommended dosage is 5 - 6 %, on shaved wt., for cow upper leathers.The recommended dosage is 2 - 3% in vegetable tanning.The recommended dosage is 4 - 6 %, on shaved wt., for suede & nubuck leathers The recommended dosage is 4 - 6 %, on shaved wt., for corrected grain leathers The recommended dosage is 2 - 8 %, on shaved wt., for pastel coloured leathers. Phenolic replacement syntan for white leathers Appearance: White to creamish powder % Moisture content: 5.0 max.Solubility in Water: Freely soluble pH of 10% solution: 3.5 ±0.5 It bleaches chrome leather to a clear and level white shade. The leather has a full handle with a tight and flatgrain.ts use as retanning agent gives good fullness, mellowness & fine grain break. It is compatible with all syntans and vegetable-tanning agents and when used along with vegetable tanning agents, many light coloured leathers are obtained.It has full self-tanning properties.It has reasonably good light fastness properties The recommended dosage is 5 - 6 %, on shaved wt., for white upper leathers.The recommended dosage is 2 - 3% for pretreatment of leathers to be retanned with vegetable tannins.The recommended dosage is 5 - 8 %, on shaved wt., for drum dyed shoe upper/Nubuck. It gives good softness and fullness without loading the leather.It improves the evenness of grain in milling.Its use in retanning facilitates brilliant dyeing shades.It can be used in combination with synthetic, vegetable and chrome tanning agents. The recommended dosage is 2 - 3 %, on shaved wt., for upper leathers in re-chroming.The recommended dosage is 6-8 %, on shaved, for furniture leather The recommended dosage is 4 - 8 %, on shaved wt., for sheep & goat garment nappa eather. It levels dyeing and helps the dyestuff to penetrate.It is compatible with all syntans except aluminum tanning agents. It reduces the formation of large particles in vegetable extracts. Its use in retanning gives good fullness & grain tightness with intense dyeing shades.The leather has a round & medium soft handle. Loose structured wet blue get more filling in flank, belly area.Its use in retanning improves buffability of leather. The recommended dosage is 4 - 5 %, on shaved wt., for upper leathers.The recommended dosage is 2-4%, on shaved wt., for garment leather. Retanningwith Ventan MA helps withstand wet toggling.Its use in retanning improves plumpness of leather.It exhibits good selective filling properties & light fastness. For retanning of Upholstery leather 3 -5 % after eutralization, before retanning/dyeing/ fatliquoring.For retanning of Cow/Buffalo Softy leather 4 -5% for getting soft 8i mellow feel with very good grain tightness, after neutralization & before retanning.For Glazed articles 3-4% after neutralization, before retanning / dyeing /fatliquoring.For Cow/Sheep/Goat Nappa Leather 3-5% after neutralization, before retanning/dyeing/ fatliquoring. Ventan MA powder can be readily dissolved in water to desired concentration levels of 30% to 40% depending on required viscosity of resultant liquid. It's strong buffering action avoids excessive neutralization.It's use gives dye leveling effect.Due to its stability to electrolytes, it can be used in compact process of leather manufacturing.It gives excellent grain smoothness due to its non-astringent nature. Neutralization of Shoe upper leather : Recommended dosage is 1 - 3% Ventan PNS powder on shaved wt.In compact process for cow upper : Recommended dosage is 3 - 4% Ventan PNS powder on shaved wt. Naphthalene based neutralizing syntan Appearance: Light brown coloured powder % Moisture content: 5.0 max.Solubility in Water: Freely soluble in water.pH of 10% solution: 8± 0.5 Due to its low alkalinity, it does not affect chrome complex in neutralizing free acidity of leather.Due to its composition, it shows good buffering action and ensures safe neutralization giving uniform pH throughout entire cross-section of leather.It's use in neutralization of chrome tanned leathers results in lowering of cationic charge of the surface. This facilitates subsequent dyeing and fatliquoring operations It improves the penetration of dyestuffs and does not bleach the colour. The recommended dosage is 2-3%, on shaved wt., for shoe upper leathers.The neutralization pH can be adjusted with all other suitable alkalis.The recommended dosage is 1 - 2% on pelt wt. for basification.
